The welcome from Dave and Kim was very warm and friendly, we arrived later than expected after a rather torturous journey from Germany and were immediately offered a welcome hot drink. The room was spotlessly clean and the decor beautiful. The breakfasts were perfect. Thank you to Dave and Kim, the Bentley Lodge is very highly recommended.

The decor and cleanliness, the breakfast and options (so you didn't have to have a large fry up plonked on the plate) but smaller portions of good quality food, just as I'd do at home. Lots of pretty finishing touches like the cushions on the beds, ribbon on the towels and pretty tea set in the room all make a difference :-) Very friendly and helpful owners
The plastic mattress cover! It makes me feel clammy in bed!

Ideal hotel with good wi-fi, the location was amazing very close to Torre station so that you can explore the area easily. I really enjoyed the room, it was very well furnished and spotless and had free WiFi and coffee/tea making equipment. The beachfront restaurant offered warm dishes, and the breakfast was good and lovely. The staff was amicable and lovely - I would stay here again.

The stay was excellent; Kim is a great host and cook and her male servant was also of a high standard. Comfortable rooms, great service, very friendly and welcomed my dogs.

This is a very minor criticism but I prefer a meatier breakfast sausage

This was our second visit to Bentley Lodge and once again we had a lovely stay. The breakfast is something to look forward to! Very welcoming and comfortable Band b run by a lovely couple who seem genuinely pleased to welcome you to their home. We took our little dog with us and he was very welcome too. We will be going again the nest time we visit Torquay to see our family.

The host, David & Kim were friendly and ensure that we (4 of us with 2 rooms) were comfortably with rooms. Good choices of breakfast with excellent service and frequently checking if we are alright with the serving. The rooms were a bit cold as the heater were not on. The weather is quite cold. Overall the stay is very comfortable, clean and tidy.

The King Room features a well-stocked fridge and a unique jar of homemade sweets that add a personal touch not often found in places at this level. Breakfast stands out due to the use of local premium produce, with the homemade jam being a delicious highlight.
The open windows let in a bit of road noise in the mornings, which might disrupt those who prefer absolute quiet. The guest house is very much family-oriented, meaning no loud activities post-curfew, which could feel restrictive to some without a family setting. Parking can be a bit limited if during peak times, which may add a minor inconvenience for late arrivals.

Rooms were spotless and very pleasant. Kim and David were extremely hospitable and the breakfast was delicious. All in all we had a wonderful stay at the Bentley Lodge and would visit again if we were to go to Torquay.
